Alexis M. Scott

Alexis M. Scott-Boster is a Quadruple E: Educator, Entrepreneur, Engineer, and Elocutionist. As an Entrepreneur, she founded AMS Academic Solutions to share her gift of numbers and education that she has possessed since an early age. As an Engineer, Alexis took on the position of Systems Engineering Department Manager for the Integrated Mission Systems Market Segment for a rising company in Defense in October 2021 in which she manages a team of 90+ Cyber Security, Database, and Network Engineers. For 12 years prior, she worked for another major defense company as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer. For 3 years, she was the Section Manager in Dallas, Tx of their Systems Security Engineering Group. As an Educator, she has been teaching Mathematics for over 30 years including 18 years as a college professor. She has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Spelman College and a graduate degree in Mathematics from the University of North Texas. As Elocutionist, she has taken all those passions above and began speaking on her experiences as a Woman in STEM. She is a 2017 NSBE Hidden Figures Awards recipient for her contributions to STEM. For the week of July 5, 2017, she was Vanguard's STEM Woman Crush Wednesday in STEM (#WCWinSTEM). She published one book in 2017 called Embracing STEM Smarts: an encouraging guide for young ladies to be bold in their intelligence. She has since published several other books and has also been featured in several books as a STEM role model. She was honored by her Alma Mater, University of North Texas as a featured alumnus in their July 2017 newsletter.  She was also featured by her undergraduate alma mater Spelman College as a woman in STEM to watch. She was honored by Zakat Court #133 as their Woman of the Year for her contributions in STEM. Finally, she created the blog post called Breaking the Curse of Invisibility for Herdacity.org which was also the subject of her TEDx talk (https://youtu.be/mPohBFk6SV0) in February 2018. Cheryl Jordan-Webster

Cheryl Jordan-Webster is a Public School Outreach Coordinator for the TurnAround Agenda at Oakcliff Bible Fellowship Church. She has been an engaged community advocate for many years and has inspired and empowered youth through education in the classroom, has worked on community outreach through after-school program development, has served as a college administrator in Student Services, has been an arts facilitator in "arts as therapy" sessions, and has been a former chaperone for Black Girls Go Global. Cheryl has a Master of Arts degree in Student Services from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Psychology from Western Illinois University.

Colette Martin

Colette Martin is a Native New Yorker who lives currently in the DFW Metroplex of Texas. Her humble beginnings started in the South Bronx of New York City, being raised by two loving parents. She learned at a young age about hard work and dedication and never to give up because failure wasn’t an option. After graduating HS from a private Catholic school as a Merit Scholar, she accepted her journey assignment at the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a B.A. Degree in Communication with a Minor in History. She is a mom of two young adult sons, former Educator, Speaker, Trainer, and CEO and founder of her own Public Relations Company. During her work as an Educator, she wore many hats professionally which led her to utilize her skills, talents, and education to fill the positions that she holds today. Currently, besides being a Business Owner, she was recognized an awarded the 2023 Local Businessperson of the Year, Ambassador over 6cities for business owners in Arlington and Surrounding areas, and is the National Director for NAUEP, the largest National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals in the country. With her many vast skills and talents, she has her own Podcast and produced over 10 Wellness Journals to assist in the fight for women to stay mentally healthy. Colette is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Kim Arney

Board Treasurer

Kim is President/CEO of BbK Services 556 and has nearly 40 years of experience as an on-site and remote bookkeeper and tax preparation professional. In keeping books for private enterprises, non-profits, and individuals in industries ranging from healthcare and government to landscaping, construction, law, manufacturing, retail, and real estate, she takes pride in developing an efficient, informative, and collaborative approach to her client’s finances. This way, the best decisions are always made to help them reach their goals. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Kim earned her BS in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Central State University. She has lived in five states, and she and her husband, Samuel, have been married for 37 years. Together, they have two grown children, Julian and Blair. Kim loves traveling, dancing, visiting museums, volunteering at local events and non-profits, and having as much fun with life as possible.

Lisa Randolph is CEO and Founder of Kaizen Endeavors Inc., which comprises subsidiaries created to fulfill the mission of enhancing the lives of people and the planet through business. One of the companies is “Your Kaizen Coach” a business coaching and consulting firm, which collaborates with entrepreneurs, small corporations, and non-profits to launch or grow their business or organization. She is also a published author, facilitator, speaker and podcaster. Lisa is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She has been an influencer in business and entrepreneurial space for more than 26 years. Before venturing out on her own as a full-time entrepreneur in 1996, she worked for The Marriott and Omni Hotel Corporations, as a sales marketing manager. She is passionate about empowering Young Girls and Women to discover their leadership voice and entrepreneurial skills within. She has served on numerous boards in various capacities. She is the Past Board President and Mentor for The Dream Angels Organization, which is a mentoring organization for girls’ grades 3-12. She has served as a mentor for “Girls Going Places” Entrepreneurship Program, has mentored high school girls in the Richardson School District through its Professional Internship Program. Lisa has also served as a “Peace Through Business” Mentor for The Institute of Economic Empowerment of Women, which mentors women business owners from Rwanda and Afghanistan on business related issues. Lisa holds a BA in Advertising and Marketing from The University of Oklahoma and Associate Degree in Hotel Management. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Thriving Coaches Alumnae, Leadership Texas| Women Alumnae, and member of WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainability). When not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, organic gardening, listening to music, going to the movies, playing her drums, reading spiritual and personal growth books, playing racquetball, pickleball and just “BEING instead of Doing.” She's discovered the joys of napping, even during the workweeks. According to Lisa, those power naps makes all the difference in the world!

Rolonda Goodwin

Rolonda Goodwin grew up in Bolivia, NC and is the eldest of three siblings. Her parents were hard workers who instilled in her the value of strong work ethic and the importance of taking care of family. She graduated from South Brunswick High School with honors and later attended North Carolina A&T State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She later obtained her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. Rolonda has over 25 years of experience working in the high-tech industry, having worked for Motorola, Scientific-Atlanta, and currently Cisco Systems. She has experience working in and leading teams in Manufacturing, Engineering, and Technical Services. Rolonda is the author of “Wisdom Brings Success: A 31 Day Journey to Reflect and Revise” Her hobbies include mentoring, writing, and preparing healthy meals. She is also a certified health coach. Rolonda resides in the Raleigh area with her husband Tony. Together, they have two children, Sam and Kirsten.

Stephanie Ward is an entrepreneur, an accomplished digital marketing executive, a business development professional, a former reporter for USA Today and the Dallas Morning News, a nonprofit leader, a former member of the City of Allen Arts Commission, founder of Gifts for Moms, and a curious traveler. She has been a strong advocate for women and girls and has spent a lifetime helping them succeed in life.

Vanessa Meshack

Vanessa Meshack is a former educator who taught Elementary, Middle and High School grade levels. She has traveled abroad where she also taught High School English in Tokyo, Japan. Vanessa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Prairie View A & M University. She is a self-taught artist who is developing in the art world with the help of several professional artists. Vanessa is a former member of Jack and Jill of America’s Board of Directors and served two terms as the Lead Teen Sponsor at the chapter level. She is a mother of two young adult children who she has helped navigate through the education system and extracurricular programs to help them fulfill their highest potential. Vanessa resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband, Bill. When she is not working in her printmaking studio, she enjoys quilting, visiting museums, and attending art exhibition openings.
